We numb the lip by placing localized dental anesthesia to ensure that your treatment is completely pain-free. Lip fillers are then injected into the lips with very fine needles to ensure minimal discomfort and bruising, allowing us to sculpt the lips to the desired shape and volume. In many cases, we can use a round blunt tip micro cannula to administer the product throughout the lips with a small entry point on each side of the mouth without the need for needles. The use of needle or micro cannula will depend on the doctor's previous evaluation.
For those who wish to achieve a very voluminous lip, we suggest two appointments. In the first session I place 1ml of hyaluronic acid and in the second appointment 1ml plus a maximum to allow the tissues to expand slowly and naturally and achieve the best result without creating lumps, bumps or irregularities without creating lumps, bumps or irregularities.
Yes, in the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the appearance of your lips, the products we use are all natural hyaluronic acid and can be completely dissolved, although we rarely have to do this. We also routinely correct "bad work" done elsewhere, and can dissolve misplaced or lumpy filler and re-treat as needed.
